Hot Pursuit - a name familiar to gamers in general interest rate and Need for Speed series in particular. The latest version of Need for Speed retrieve the name of the version released in 1998 is clearly the intention of the developer Criterion Games, when it says that they will bring the series back to the "value Traditional ": speed, police siren and chase scenes filled with tension. By Criterion Games and the man behind the Burnout series, fans can fully expect the dramatic race, with the explosion "blown" players out of his chair.

A somewhat surprising that the studio won the right to development Criterion Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is because they seek to EA and ask for the right to development, not vice versa EA is developing a licensing studio. Craig Sullivan, the creative director of Criterion Games EA still surprised when they agreed to implement a new version of this game. By itself is a fan of the game in 1998, Sullivan said the game will take players to the most wonderful things quickly, rather than "trivial" when beginning and gradually become flame.

Play of the game will focus on one thing only: the phase between the police chase and the race. Hot Pursuit gives players a sense of unequal rush of "hunting" and "Rabbit", which of course, "Hound" is the police, while the "rabbit" is the driver. Players can play both sides to participate in the race, rather limited role in the race to escape police as before. Each side has its own skills to serve his purpose, and success in the arrest or escape will help players win races, which unlock new vehicles as well as "tactics" new.

To catch those who disregard the law, police have their own advantages: their car was never damaged, always faster, able to call helicopter support and a few special abilities more inclined to disable opponents as creating barricades on the road, drop fence spikes, electromagnetic waves reverse an opponent's wheel. In contrast, the riders suffer when their vehicles more slowly, will be damaged when hitting obstacles or police car, but the features they support and defense tend to hide such as stealth, mislead by other vehicles, radar jamming ... Drivers can help get rid of the clinging of the police easier.

The game's multiplayer features will be a game that helps with replay value long term. The race in the game allows up to 8 participants: a race to find a way out of seven police, or sought a policeman caught seven riders left. Of course, the explosion will be indispensable in a game like this, and players can expect in the broken phase "100 times more epic" than what is shown in the demo. Police will be won when the destruction of the race car, but the race will win the inevitable sight of the police in about 15 seconds. The vehicle involved in the race also will include names like Ford Shelby GT500, or Lamborghini Reventon Bugatti Veyron 16.4, as can be seen in the trailer. So players will probably delight the driver in the series of dream cars as well.
